Eminent professor and defender of African dignity Kalala OMOTUNDE has joined the ancestors

Jean-Philippe Kalala Omotunde passed away on Monday, November 14. The author, Egyptologist, history researcher specializing in African science and mathematics and African classical humanities, and a UNESCO project manager, died of a heart attack, according to initial reports.

For many years, he campaigned for the true history of Africa to be known. He often repeated during his lectures and speeches that the history of the peoples of the Caribbean did not begin with slavery and that it was important to teach this to children.

He recently took part in a conference on African thought in Yaoundé, Cameroon, where he urged the continent's leaders to turn to geothermal energy in order to achieve energy independence for Africa.

A fierce defender of African thought, he chose to rename himself with an authentic Kamite name, Nioussérê Kalala Omotunde. Nioussérê was of Egyptian origin, like the cradle of knowledge according to his theories, and Kalala, like the traditional problem-solving body of the Congo.

This death has affected many people in the Afro-Caribbean community. Many messages of tribute have been exchanged!

The teachings of this great man must be disseminated in schools to young people in general and African youth in particular.

May Jean Philippe Kalala Omotunde rest in peace. A thought for his family and loved ones.

Professor Kalala OMOTUNDE is dead! Long live Kalala OMOTUNDE!
