The traditional Adossa-Gadao festival celebrated by the Tem communities of Tchaoudjo
The Tem communities of Tchaoudjo Prefecture celebrated the culmination of their traditional Adossa-Gadao festival this weekend. This year, the event focused on strengthening social cohesion in the face of violent extremism.
The occasion allowed people from different backgrounds to reflect together on the development of Tchaoudjo. The harvest and knife festival, marked by several activities, was also attended by the Minister of Territorial Administration, Decentralization and Territorial Development, Payadowa Boukpessi, and his colleagues in charge of the environment, investment promotion and public works.
As a reminder, traditional festivities have resumed since last year throughout the country, after a two-year hiatus due to the health situation.
