Celebrating Academic Excellence in Lomé

Two hundred and twenty-two students, winners of the CEPD, BEPC, BAC 1, and BAC 2 national exams for the 2024-2025 school year, were honored at the Academic Excellence Ceremony held last Wednesday. This event brought together students from all regions of the country, recognized as the most deserving following their end-of-year exams.

The winners received a variety of rewards, including school kits, financial incentives, and, for recent graduates, laptops, a symbol of their integration into higher education. A special feature of this year's competition was the awarding of a special prize by the President of the Council, highlighting the brightest young women, who also received state-of-the-art computers.

This ceremony is part of the preparations for the next school year, in line with the national school kit distribution campaign launched the day before. It illustrates the executive's commitment to the education sector and its desire to promote academic excellence.

Minister of Higher Education Kanka-Malik Natchaba sent an inspiring message to the winners: “ Your success is a promise, and excellence is a continuous journey and a constant requirement .” This reminder underscores the importance of perseverance and commitment in the pursuit of academic excellence.
