Togo launches call for applications for 2026 Chevening Scholarships

Ambitious young Togolese have until October 7 to apply for the prestigious Chevening Scholarships, opening the doors to British universities. The Ministry of Higher Education officially launched the call for applications for the 2026 edition of the Chevening Scholarship program on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. This unique opportunity for young Togolese professionals to pursue high-level studies in the United Kingdom.

An accessible program of excellence

Chevening Scholarships, funded by the UK government, are aimed at recent graduates with at least two years of professional experience after completing an undergraduate degree. Applicants must not have previously received a UK government scholarship to study in the UK. This program covers tuition fees, a monthly stipend, and other logistical benefits.

Since joining the Commonwealth in 2023, Togo has been among the countries eligible for this program of excellence. This international recognition allows young Togolese to train at renowned universities, while strengthening ties between the two countries.
