A new era for LONATO: revolutionary lottery games and tenfold increase in winnings

In a constant effort to improve its services and optimize its offerings, LONATO, the National Lottery of Togo, is preparing to introduce a new lottery gaming environment starting July 1, 2023. This transition promises to bring significant innovations that will impact various aspects of the player and bettor experience. The information meeting took place on June 29, 2023, at the company's headquarters in Lomé.

Among the major changes planned for the gaming environment are the replacement of current production servers with new, more powerful ones. In addition, the TPM 3000 gaming terminals will be replaced with TS10 terminals, offering faster and more user-friendly operation for operators.

LONATO will also expand its sales network throughout Togo, allowing for greater accessibility to points of sale. Loto draws will be conducted just 5 minutes after the sales close, significantly reducing waiting times for results.

As for the draws, starting July 1, 2023, the number of weekly draws will increase from 4 to 12. Players will thus have the opportunity to participate in two draws per day, scheduled at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. from Monday to Saturday.

LONATO also made changes to the betting rules and introduced a new bet type, offering more options to punters. The minimum bet has been reduced from 300 FCFA to 100 FCFA per ticket, making participation more accessible. In addition, it is now possible to bet on 10 grids per ticket, increasing the chances of winning.

The new bet type offered by LONATO is called TURBO. It focuses on NAP2, where bettors choose two numbers and wager on their position in the draw. TURBO offers three options: Turbo 2 (betting on the first two numbers), Turbo 3 (betting on the first three numbers), and Turbo 4 (betting on the first four numbers). The order in which the numbers appear is irrelevant for this type of bet.

Regarding the payment of winnings, bettors will be able to cash out winnings of less than 500,000 CFA francs at all points of sale throughout the country. However, for winnings exceeding 500,000 CFA francs, bettors will be invited to visit a LONATO branch or the General Directorate.

With these new features, LONATO offers players an improved gaming experience, with a new gaming environment, more frequent draws, more flexible bets and the possibility of participating in TURBO to increase potential winnings.
