575 new certified teachers in Atakpamé

On Friday, September 19, the Atakpamé Higher Teacher Training College certified a new class of 575 non-civil servant student teachers after three years of training.

These teachers, from six fields (Mathematics, SVT, French, English, History-Geography, Physics-Chemistry and Technology), receive a Professional Teaching License (LPE) in accordance with the License-Master-Doctorate (LMD) system.

The ENS president declared: "Today, we are not only celebrating the end of a cycle, but also the beginning of a commitment to society. These young people, trained with rigor and passion, are now ready to face the challenges of the professional world."

The recently reformed ENS of Atakpamé aims to guarantee wider access to training for students, in order to have a pool of qualified teachers for public and private establishments.
