Togo: Launch of a National Survey on the Quality of Education
A national survey on the quality of education in primary schools will be launched on October 13, 2025. This initiative, led by the National Center for Learning Assessment (CNEA), aims to collect reliable data to measure students' academic achievements and assess the overall functioning of the primary education system.
The information collection will take place in two waves:
- First wave: October 13-24, 2025
- Second wave: November 3-7, 2025
This survey will cover all primary schools in the country, thus ensuring a complete and faithful representation of the functioning of the national education system.
The director of the CNEA, Pyahalo Kebina, stressed that:
“This survey constitutes a major lever for improving the quality of education, in accordance with the 2020-2030 Education Sector Plan and the government roadmap.”
To ensure the reliability and accuracy of the data collected, training is currently underway to equip survey officers with data collection techniques. This aims to ensure that the information obtained is both accurate and relevant.
