For a week, farmers, processors, researchers, and agri-food professionals will gather to discuss innovations, best practices, and partnership opportunities. Participants will have the opportunity to discover advanced agricultural technologies, processed local products, and sustainable solutions aimed at strengthening food security and the resilience of agricultural sectors.
The program for this edition includes:
- Thematic panels on the rice, livestock and market gardening sectors.
- B2B meetings to promote commercial exchanges.
- Partner spaces to promote collaborations.
- A “Rice Day” dedicated to the rice industry.
Delegations from Niger, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and Chad are also expected to share their experiences and explore avenues for regional collaboration.
Launched just over ten years ago, SIALO aims to showcase and promote local agricultural products. This event plays a crucial role in connecting stakeholders and professionals in agriculture, livestock farming, fishing, and the agri-food sector. The previous edition focused on livestock farming, highlighting the importance of this sector to the local economy.
