Validation workshop for the implementation of the Volta Basin Strategic Action Programme
Launch of the Opening Ceremony of the Volta Basin Strategic Action Programme (VSIP) Implementation Project by the Volta Basin Authority (ABV) on July 30, 2019 in Lomé.
During their respective speeches, the Director of Water Resources of Togo, the Executive Director of the Volta Basin and the Director of Cabinet representing the Minister of Water, Rural Equipment and Village Hydraulics of Togo urged the participants to take an active part in this workshop, the validation of which will provide member countries with strong texts for better management.
This is a regional workshop to validate the performance study report on human resources management capacities and the manual of administrative, accounting and financial procedures of the Volta Basin Authority (ABV) which will take place from July 30 to August 1 at the Concorde Hotel. This regional workshop brings together human resources managers, financial managers and water resources specialists representing all six member states to reflect on the fundamental texts governing the institution's human resources.
Through this workshop, the ABV intends to equip itself with reliable texts in order to strengthen its human resources capacities, improve its efficiency and its credibility with technical and financial partners.
