Togolese officials exempt from visa for South Africa
Since June 18, Togolese officials and civil servants holding service passports no longer require a visa to travel to South Africa. This agreement strengthens bilateral relations between Lomé and Pretoria and joins a series of similar agreements with countries such as Gabon, Morocco, Russia, Brazil, and Qatar.
Togolese Foreign Minister Robert Dussey thanked his South African counterpart, Naledi Pandor, for her commitment and assured that efforts are underway to extend this facility to other passport categories.
This agreement marks a significant step forward in cooperation between Togo and South Africa, paving the way for increased trade and new economic opportunities.
