Togo: The TOGO D'ABORD coalition launches its electoral campaign in Golfe 4
The TOGO D'ABORD coalition officially launched its campaign for the municipal elections this Tuesday in the commune of Golfe 4, during a public meeting with its activists. Led by Adrien Akouété Béliki, head of the coalition's list and President of the Pan-African Patriotic Convergence (CPP), this event was marked by a strong spirit of unity between candidates and activists.
Adrien Béliki, who lives in the town, expressed his desire to make Golfe 4 a good place to live for everyone. "Our goal is to restore the town's former prestige and allow its residents to flourish," he said.
During the meeting, TOGO D'ABORD officials provided advice to the candidates and campaign team, urging them to remain calm and not give in to provocations or insults, especially in a context of political tension. They emphasized the importance of conducting a peaceful campaign, respecting the principle of living together.
To maximize their reach, TOGO D'ABORD plans to use outreach methods such as door-to-door canvassing and social media. Rallies and a caravan are also planned for the end of the campaign. During this launch event, officials also showed participants how to vote correctly to avoid having their votes invalidated.
TOGO D'ABORD is a grouping of four political parties: the Pan-African Patriotic Convergence (CPP), the Citizens' Movement for Democracy and Development (MCD), the Pan-African Democratic Party (PDP), and the Movement of Centrist Republicans (MRC).
