Strengthening cooperation between Togo and Gabon
Cooperation between Togo and Gabon is about to reach a new level. During a meeting on Wednesday, August 20, with the President of the National Assembly, Kodjo Adedze, Gabon's High Commissioner to Togo, Maximin Mangoualamangoye, reaffirmed his country's desire to strengthen its ties with Togo.
The Gabonese diplomat highlighted the importance of several priority sectors for both nations, including culture, trade, and tourism. "Culture, trade, and tourism are priority sectors for both countries, and we want to cooperate even more. We must ensure that our two chambers of commerce can collaborate to develop the best options for development within the framework of economic cooperation between our two countries," he said.
Diplomatic relations between Lomé and Libreville are historic and long-established. Maximin Mangoualamangoye indicated that it is essential to work to strengthen this cooperation and explore new avenues for the benefit of both countries and their populations.
