Robert Dussey on official visit to Iran

Togolese Foreign Minister Robert Dussey has been on an official visit to Iran since Monday. This visit is part of Togo's efforts to strengthen diplomatic ties.

After a meeting with his counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Robert Dussey was received by Iranian President Ebrahim Raïssi. The meeting focused on Togo's desire to strengthen its cooperation with the former Persian power, particularly in the economic sphere.

The two officials also discussed other multilateral issues. As a reminder, Togo has had an embassy in Tehran since 2016.
