Preparations underway for the 20th Lomé International Fair
Preparations for the 20th Lomé International Fair are progressing rapidly. On Wednesday, July 16, a meeting took place between the Director General of CETEF (Togolese Center for Exhibitions and Fairs), Alexandre de Souza, and a delegation of Chinese economic operators, marking a key moment in the organization of this event.
The discussions focused mainly on the active participation of several Chinese companies in this 20th edition of the fair, scheduled from November 28 to December 14, 2025. The Chinese delegation expressed keen interest in this major event in the West African sub-region, which attracts thousands of exhibitors and visitors from Africa and other continents every year.
The presence of Chinese companies is part of a partnership agreement established last year between CETEF and the Hebei Enterprise Culture Association. The goal of this collaboration is to increase the fair's visibility in the Asian market and attract more international economic players.
This new edition of the Lomé International Fair is particularly significant, as it will mark the 40th anniversary of CETEF, the event's organizing institution. This anniversary is eagerly awaited and promises to be a memorable celebration for all participants.
Registration for this event is already open and will continue until August 31, 2025. Interested operators can register exclusively online via the dedicated platform, called e-FIL. This approach aims to simplify the registration process and ensure better organization of the fair.
