The EMERGENCE Festival, a major cultural event on the African film scene, has just announced the launch of its 10th edition. This year, the festival will be held from November 4 to 8, 2023, in Lomé, the capital of Togo.

The EMERGENCE festival is a platform that aims to promote African film talent. It aims to provide a unique opportunity for filmmakers to meet and discuss the future of the film industry in Africa.

During this edition, several activities are scheduled, including a distribution workshop, an acting workshop, an international short film creation laboratory (Off-courts) and the Émergence films lab.

Since its inception in 2014, EMERGENCE has enjoyed growing success. From 2014 to the present day, the festival has welcomed over 50,000 spectators and presented over 250 film screenings. In addition, it has organized over 40 training workshops and awarded over 40 prizes to recognize the best films presented.

The EMERGENCE Festival is a must-attend event for all cinema enthusiasts in Africa. We look forward to this new edition, which promises to be rich in discoveries and encounters.
