Kokou Ekouagou: a committed artist at the heart of three exhibitions in September 2025

This September 2025, internationally renowned artist Kokou Ekouagou is being honored with three major exhibitions in France. His work, rich in messages of unity and solidarity, resonates particularly in a global context in search of peace.

Collage Festival Paris: “Taking Under Your Wing”

From September 1st to 27th, Ekouagou is participating in the Collage Festival Paris , which is taking place at the Espace Andrée Chedid in Issy-les-Moulineaux. The exhibition, under the theme "Taking under one's wing" , brings together around twenty collage artists. This poetic initiative invites us to explore notions of protection and mutual aid, while paying homage to the city's motto: "I have always had wings" .

The art of collage, although underrepresented in official spaces, is a powerful means of expression. With nearly 130,000 collagists listed on the ArtMajeur platform, this exhibition aims to celebrate this often overlooked art form. The works presented reflect the diverse backgrounds of the artists, whether amateur or professional.

“Art for Peace” Prize

Kokou Ekouagou is also involved in the "Art for Peace" Prize , coordinated by Area Galerie in partnership with Connaissances des Arts and Beaux-Arts Magazine. This exhibition is being held from September 10 to 13 at the prestigious Hôtel de l'Industrie in Paris. It includes a symposium on the theme of "Art and Peace" , as well as the award ceremony, highlighting the work of Professor Lin and his museum.

ARTrip Art Carousel

artist continues Carrousel Artistique ARTrip , which takes place from September 15 to 21 at the INTERNATIONAL ART GALLERY, 78 Avenue de Suffren, Paris. The opening, scheduled for September 16, will mark the beginning of this exhibition which highlights MULTICULTURE .

Under the aegis of the Art Héritage Culture of Togo, directed by Mrs. Atafèinam BELEI, this exhibition aims to promote art and culture in a globalized world. Ekouagou presents a poignant series of works entitled No Borders / Sans Frontières , inspired by the global repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A message of unity and solidarity

Kokou Ekouagou, whose works are part of major collections, is recognized for his artistic and humanitarian commitment. Through his work, he calls for a reflection on unity and solidarity in the face of global challenges. “We must all come together to solve our problems, because human problems, like COVID-19, do not pay attention to borders ,” he says.

Its message resonates in the current context, where art is becoming a vector of peace and understanding between peoples. With the ProCIAA-AHC , the initiative allows African artists to project themselves onto the international art scene while conveying universal messages of unity and resilience.

Kokou Ekouagou continues to stand out, having won third place in the public vote during his previous ARTrip Carousel.
