Establishment of the security force for the 2025 municipal elections in Togo
In preparation for the 2025 municipal elections, the Togolese government has established the 2025 Municipal Election Security Force (FOSEM 2025). This special unit is tasked with ensuring security, peace, and transparency throughout the electoral process throughout the country.
FOSEM 2025 is under the supervision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) and is headed by Colonel KEDEWOULI Essodô Koudjaki.
