Entrance exam to the National Institute of Agricultural Training (INFA) in Tové

The Togolese government, through the Ministries of Agriculture, Higher Education, and Technical Education, launched the entrance exam for the National Institute of Agricultural Training (INFA) in Tové last week. The exam, open to Togolese citizens aged 18 to 28 as of January 1, 2026, will take place in several writing centers across the country, including Lomé, Kpalimé, Sokodé, Kara, and Dapaong, on September 16 and 17.

The competition offers around ten specializations covering various fields such as agropastoralism, animal health, forestry and sustainable land management, agricultural equipment, agriculture, agri-food, fish production, environmental management, agricultural machinery and hydro-agricultural works. The available places are divided between two cycles: the Professional Agricultural Baccalaureate, which offers 30 places, and the Professional Agricultural License, with 35 places.

Interested candidates can submit their applications until Friday, August 22, at the regional directorates of Agriculture in Dapaong, Kara, Sokodé, Atakpamé, Tsévié, as well as at the INFA of Tové in Kpalimé and at the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Agricultural Financing in Lomé.

It is important to note that the INFA in Tové has recently undergone a reorientation to better align with the country's new agricultural policy. The institute also plans to expand its educational offerings through the introduction of online courses, aimed at increasing access to agricultural training for a greater number of Togolese.
