Togo: Drop in diesel and jet fuel prices
In Togo, the selling prices of petroleum products have been adjusted since January 28. An interministerial decree was issued to this effect by the ministers responsible for trade, energy, and transport.
In detail, diesel goes from 850 FCFA to 775 FCFA per liter, a decrease of 75 FCFA. Jet fuel now costs 615.41 FCFA per liter instead of 654.41 FCFA, a reduction of 39.42 FCFA. The prices of super unleaded, kerosene, and 2-stroke fuel remain unchanged and are sold at 700 FCFA, 650 FCFA, and 788 FCFA respectively.
As a reminder, the government is maintaining its subsidy on petroleum products which range from 178 to 233 FCFA per liter, depending on the different products, in particular super-unleaded, petrol, diesel and 2-stroke mixture.
